Monday Motivation: Helmut Strebl


Aged 44, not only does Helmut Strebl have a stunner of a physique, his must be the leanest and most dry you would have come across. Unbelievably shredded at this age, Helmut has a very interesting story behind his madness to get this extreme. Helmut Strebl Shredded Helmut Strebl Stats:

Height: 6’3”
Weight: 97-99 kg (213-218 lbs)
Body fat: 5%

At the age of 12, Helmut Strebl was a tiny, skinny kid, who was very often bullied by the big, muscular chaps at school. The motive with which he initially started lifting weights was to become stronger and to protect himself, but once he got on with it, he wanted much more. Helmut wanted to grow bigger and to come at par with his schoolmate who used to bully him. His initial weights were five kilos a piece and no, they were not dumbbells. Two bottles of washing detergent, filled with water – that’s what he used to lift, until he joined a gym a few years later.  With this as a start, he soon took off with the dream to become a fitness model.

Helmut Strebl Biceps To keep that killer physique at its best, Helmet trains each of his major muscle groups every five or six days. His workout schedule is as follows:

Monday: Back/Shoulders/Calves/Abs
Tuesday: Chest/Triceps
Wednesday: Biceps/Hamstrings/Abs
Thursday: Quads/Calves
Friday: Glutes/Chest (Heavy)
Saturday: Rest
